At Marton-cum-Grafton we believe that education is a partnership between home and School. We have a very open door policy and parents and members of the local community are very involved in the life of the school.
Families help the school in many different ways. The ‘friends of the school’ is a very active group to which any parents or members of the local community can belong at any time.
Anyone is welcome to attend The Friends meetings and enjoy getting to know other parents and families at the social and fundraising events that they organise.
As a result of its Voluntary Aided status, the Governing Body and the School Community are responsible for raising 10% of the cost of the maintenance of the fabric of the building.
